Corrections policy
Last updated 25 October 2026
We aim to get every fact right and to correct mistakes openly when we do not.
Reporting an error
Email editor@spacex-news.com with the address of the page, what you believe is wrong and, if you can, a source that shows the correct information. We review reports within two working days.
How corrections are made
When a fact in a story is wrong, we correct the story and add a note at the end saying what was changed and when. If the error changed the meaning of the story, the note goes at the top. We do not remove stories to hide mistakes.
Spelling and grammar fixes that do not change the meaning are made without a note.
Launch times, results and figures on data pages come directly from their sources and update when those sources do. If a source record is wrong, we report it to the source and add a note to the page until it is fixed.
Stories drafted with AI
Stories drafted with AI from a source document are checked against that document and approved by the editor before publication. They are corrected in the same way as any other story, and the correction note says so.
